Savannah's Story . . .
We hope you will take a few minutes to listen to the story of Savannah. In October, Arts into Action collaborated with Frankfort-Schuyler Middle School and High School’s Friends of Rachel Club in Frankfort, NY to make cookies for the homeless (see story below). Overall, over 500 cookies were made and 100 containers which were distributed throughout all of Syracuse to the homeless with the help and dozens of volunteers. The remainder of the cookies were then donated to the Samaritan Center of Downtown Syracuse for their guest to enjoy. Savannah was a recipient of cookies and agreed to tell us her story, and here it is.

Our mission is to utilize the various different kinds of art and serving the community to create a positive impact on people in the community by giving back and giving them the chance to experience the arts. There are hundreds of thousands of people in this world who are disadvantaged, and even more than you know right here in Central New York. Take some time to give back. There are many ways of giving back to those in need and our organization uses the arts and our service to bring the community together and make a difference locally.
