About
We are an organization based in Syracuse, NY. Our goal at Arts into Action is to empower people in the community to give back by utilizing the various different types or art, from visual, to theatre, dance, music, comedy, instrumental art and more, to aid those in poverty in the Syracuse area. We partner with local public schools, soup kitchens, charities, and organizations to better the Syracuse area. By bringing the positivity of the arts to people who don't have access to it, we are giving adults and children alike a chance to have these experiences and learn what the arts can do for people. We want to bring a brighter, friendlier and more positive environment to people who are in a dark and lonely place in their life, or even just don't have the chance to express their artistic ability. Service is our main goal. We have a variety of different programs from helping stock shelves at thrift shops, to serving in soup kitchens, to running after school arts classes for children in school districts who have little to no budget for arts programs. We want to partner with as many different people and organizations as we can on our future projects. There are many different ways to give to the community and we want to do everything we can to help!

Performance is also a huge part of what we do. By utilizing the various arts such as theatre, music, dance, visual arts, instrumental arts among others to bring entertainment, and a brighter setting to people who are disadvantaged and not in the best place in their lives. Through our various performances, we also work to raise money and awareness of different issues that are big problems in the Syracuse area.
